DELTA®-MS 20

The Problems

Buildings can face moisture and mold problems when their floor slabs are made of porous concrete. To ensure a strong foundation and long-lasting structure, it's important to prioritize moisture control. One effective way to achieve this is by implementing a sub-base course, which can safeguard the footing and prevent the concrete from absorbing moisture from the surrounding soil. This proactive approach can prevent issues with moisture seeping through the slab and causing damage.

The Solution

DELTA®-MS 20 Horizontal is a compression-resistant, durable, dimpled sheet made from special High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and suited for your vertical applications. It provides heavy-duty, long-term protection for a permanently dry foundation.

This product is a heavy gauge version of DELTA®-MS with deep 20 mm studs. It controls rising groundwater in horizontal applications and is ideally used where extra drainage capacity is required, on deeper structures or where a larger flow rate is required. DELTA®-MS 20 Horizontal can also be used as a “cavity former” for many types of new construction.

DELTA®-MS 20 Horizontal is available with perforations for roof garden systems, parking decks, etc. Perforations allow for surplus water to drain more effectively.
